boros arhitektura

15th November, Thursday, 6 p.m., Balassi Institute

In Hungary and in Slovenia it’s all about wine at the time around St. Martin’s Day. But wine is a lot more than only a beverage: throughout the centuries, the cultivation of vine and viniculture have established themselves as important activities that shape the cultural landscape, too. Viniculture influenced art, but also the natural environment as well as the construction of buildings.

The special connection between architecture and wine will be revealed in conversation with Hungarian and Slovenian architects. The discussion will be held in English, and led by András Borsos, the secretary of the Hungarian Association of Architects.

At the end of the event, winemakers of the cellars presented, will provide us an opportunity to taste their products. The tasting will be guided by sommelier Staša Cafuta Trček.
